Vaayu Aero / First of its kind
Vaayu Aero has designed the first UAV of its kind: an airframe nobody else builds, with endurance nobody else can match.
BBAW is a Group 3 UAV with the longest endurance in its class: 36 hours of continuous flight and 2,123 nm of reach on a single runway-free launch, held aloft by an adaptive aeroelastic wing that reshapes itself in flight. Its 80 L modular payload bay plugs and plays 20 to 48 lb of your sensors, so one airframe flies every mission. Take it as mission-scoped COCO flight hours, or own it outright as a certified, mission-configured aircraft.
Why BBAW
Every hour an aircraft cannot stay on station is an hour someone else has to cover with another launch, another crew, another gap in the picture. BBAW's 36 hour endurance collapses a rotation of aircraft into a single airframe overhead. The full competitive picture sits with each mission below.
Coverage that takes two to four sorties on shorter-legged platforms takes one on BBAW, with no handover gaps.
Fly to a distant patrol box, spend the shift on station, and come home, or map an entire linear corridor in a single sortie.
Pneumatic catapult launch and SkyHook recovery operate from clearings, ridgelines, vessels, and austere sites.
Fewer launch and recovery events per day of coverage means smaller teams, less fatigue, and lower exposure.
Platform
The adaptive aeroelastic wing works with the airflow instead of fighting it: distributed trailing edge surfaces (F1 shape, F2 pitch, F3 roll and camber) continuously reshape the wing in flight, trading drag for time on station. At the aerodynamic center sits an 80 L modular payload bay supporting 20 to 48 lb: plug and play any payload that fits the envelope and speaks the standard power and data interface. No airframe redesign between missions.

How to buy
Two acquisition models, one airframe. Choose the ownership posture that fits your mission tempo, budget cycle, and regulatory position.
Contractor owned, contractor operated. Purchase flight hours scoped to your missions. Vaayu delivers the aircraft, crews, and coverage.
Fits: agencies and operators who need coverage now, seasonal demand, first deployments.
Purchase the certified aircraft, delivered configured with the payloads your missions require, and operate it as your own.
Fits: defence programs, national agencies, and operators building an organic UAV capability.
Missions
Every payload you select updates endurance, range, and station margin live. All deltas run off the published 36 hour, 2,123 nm baseline.
